The prototyper achieves tangibility or presentable functions in complex environments with the right investment of time.
The prototyper manages to do this through balanced use of mock-ups (sketched representation or function) with an attractive shell and the correct functional depth, enabling humans to understand complex software or implementation concepts. Prototypes are also used to make functions or operating concepts testable, without, however, developing the full software.
In the competency model, prototypers are assigned to the developers. A distinction is made here between senior and architect. The languages and concepts used can sometimes differ fundamentally from high-level language.
Experienced prototypers have their own architectural understanding of how to develop production-ready features from the prototype with manageable resources.
In projects with tight deadlines and a missing requirement, an experienced prototyper can also fashion a technical solution - in line with the concept of "rapid prototyping".
Prototyper are also subject to the quality management standards, as all other roles. Frequently, they must themselves take care of the ACTUAL-TARGET comparison by means module tests and functional tests. Conceptual strength allows them to document their solutions and make them comprehensible to developers and users.
Would you like a prototype in the strict sense, or do you need a quick fix in an uncertain environment? Then our prototypers are the support you need.
